Ransom Braaten

Ransom Braaten is the founder of Racket Nut. For the past 10 years, he has helped introduce many new players to tennis as well as assist seasoned players with any bad habits picked up along the way. An ear-to-ear smile from his students at the end of a lesson is what makes him so passionate about what he does as a coach.

As a 20-year player of the sport, he was always looking to find a mentor or resource that answered all his tennis-specific questions. Questions ranging in topic from technique, fitness, rackets, strings, and getting match tough. He was at a loss finding this, so he created it. Ransom hopes to help people overcome the same issues he had trying to improve as a player.

On top of his decade teaching tennis, he has 10 years of experience in the tennis retail space. Ransom has tried countless combinations of rackets and strings. Over the past 2 years alone he has helped dozens of satisfied clients find their perfect string and racket to match their game style.
